HiP Loreal bronzer in Blessed

This is my favorite bronzer to use in the summer. As a NC15 super pale girl, I cannot use dark bronzers, it tends to make me look I have dirt on my face. I use this bronzer because it leans towards the golden tones and gives me the perfect amount of color for the summer months. As you can tell this product is WELL loved. I purchased this years back when Walgreens was having a clearance sale. There is still a TON of product left 5.5 grams of product total.

Ratings 4/5 stars: Great pigmentation, perfect for pale girls and extremely blendable. It is a multipurpose product I also use it on my crease sometimes. It has some shimmer particles when you look at the pan however on the face it looks matte.

Skin Food Mushroom BB cream

Skin food Mushroom BB cream in shade #2

I cut it open because nothing would come out.

I clip it and then put it in a ziplock bag to ensure that it does not dry out

This is my first BB cream and it is my favorite! First off, the smell is AMAZING, it smells like fresh peaches and every time I apply it to my face in the morning it just wakes me up and makes me smile. For around $20 this product comes with 50 grams of products. It is extremely pigmented,  semi-opaque and the coverage is definitely buildable. Shade #2 is a bit too dark for me actually, so I only use this in the summer. The other day I was trying to use this product and nothing would come out so I decided to cut it open to see if there was anymore product left and I was pleasantly surprised by how much product is stuck near the cap. I've been using for 2 weeks now and there is still plenty of product left!

Ratings 4/5 stars: Drys non sticky, stays on the face really well with or without a powder, smells great like fresh peaches, SPF to protect you from the sun, lightweight feeling and is extremely reasonably priced. The con is that it only has 2 shade selection and it leans too PINK on my skin tone. I do not put this all over my face, just the center of my face, under my eyes since pink salmon color brightens up the center of the face.

Tip of the day when you think you are done with a product, cut it open or take out the stopper if it's a lipgloss/wand type of product and you will be pleasantly surprised at how much more product there is!

Revlon Color Stay Mineral Blush in Honey

Revlon Color Stay Mineral Blush in Honey
This is one of the items that I had picked up at CVS during their clearance sale which is still going on btw! It is a natural colored peachy skin toned blush. The texture of this mineral blush is pretty hard compared to Mac's mineralized blushes. It shows up on my very pale skin however I have heard if you are NC 35 or higher this blush might not show up on you.

Ratings 2/5 Stars: The original price of the blush is about 15$ which is JUST crazy for only 1.13 grams of product. A Mac mineralized blush is about 20$ for 5grams and their MSFs are 28$ for 10 grams. I got this during the clearance sale so it was only 3.99$ but for 1.13 grams and also the color pay off that it lacks, it is not a good deal. I do love how natural it looks on my cheeks but I've definitely had better experiences with other drugstore blushes. I would not repurchase for $ 3.99 so unless you are crazy about blushes I would suggest to pass on this blush!

Hard Candy Fire alarm lipstick

Fire alarm lipstick swatch
Fire alarm packaging
This is one of my only hard candy items that I own and I bought it from Walmart. I was looking for a dupe for fleshpot lipstick from Mac in case I ever run out but I must say that I am disappointed. It is VERY sheer hence the swatch on my lips does not even look nude. It is VERY streaky so u can see all the lines appear on my lips making my lips look extremely old and wrinkly. The reason it looks to used up is because it is so sheer that I usually apply 5 coats. For the sake of the swatch I applied 2 coats as I would with a regular lipstick. Over all this is not a good product and I would never buy this again.

Rating 2/5 stars: many people will tell you to exfoliate before applying this lipsticks and it will look amazing however, I refuse to do extra work to use a particular lipstick. I do like how it smells faintly of artificial vanilla...but it goes on streaky even with exfoliation. I also do not like the packaging, there is a ribbon at where my purple nails is holding. It just looks awkward and does not look good with the rest of my lipstick collection. Also the design on the cap makes this product look cheap.

Mac lipstick Fleshpot

Flesh Pot lip swatch

Cute packaging from the Heatherette collection from Mac

My favorite nude lipstick of allllllll time. This is very suitable for pale skinned girls. It is nude with a hint of pink. It is not a pinky nude, just it leans more cool toned unlike Myth which leans more golden pale nude. It is a satin finish and looks just awesome on my lips. As you can tell i loveeeee it so much that it is used down to the stub. I love the packaging, this is THE best packaging that Mac has ever came out with. It is just hot pink with holographic glitters and unlike other packagings the design does not fade or fall off.

Ratings 4/5 stars: Best packaging, very pretty nude, vanilla smell and very opaque. The only con is that it can be a bit drying and sink into the crevices of my lip lines. Must be paired with the right eye make up or else it does make me look a bit dead.

Revlon Lip Butters

The concept of the lip butters is suppose to be a tinted lip balm. They glide on smoothly and feels amazing. However after 30 minutes or so they become drying on the lips. I picked up two of them to try out, at $7 plus a piece they are not cheap. There seems to be 3 types of lip butter, one is creamy and pigmented, one type has some sparkles and is sheer and another type is just pure sheer color. As for the smell, the two lip butters that I bought had NO SMELL what so ever. For some reason I was hoping they would smell like vanilla or creme brulee...however no smell is better than plastic or soap smell! The color is buildable BUT it comes with VERY little product. The pictures below is all the product that you will get twisted all the way up.

Cotton Candy lip swatch

Cotton Candy Rating: 2/5 pale pink with a little gold shimmer, very sheer in color. If it were not so drying I would have liked these lip butters a lot more. They look great on my lips upon application even I have to admit it, however this is definitely an over hyped product that does not perform up to par and dried out my lips.

Gum Drop: 2.5/5 pale lilac pure sheer color. Great packaging, not as drying as the other ones with shimmer. I like the sheer creme colors more as they are more moisturizing. I have yet to try Red Velvet which is categorized under creamy and pigmented.

24/7 Freeze Lip Plumping Gloss

A hidden gem found at my local Marshalls a long time back. I decided to do a review on it before I finish the entire product and throws it in the can.

As you can tell this product is very well loved by me. According to some online websites this tube of gloss is worth approx $60. I bought mine for $7.99 at Marshalls. When I first put it on my lips it has this extremely tingling sensation. Nothing like Duwop's lip venom and venom flash which burned my lips. This is the perfect tingle, I do not notice much plumping, however it just feels minty and makes my breathe smell super good too. The color is very sheer and the wear is light weight, though it is not a long lasting gloss, it feels super good on the lips and does not fall off easily.

Rating 4.5 /5 stars great smell, taste, minty feeling on lips, and it feels very light weight. I enjoy wearing the gloss on hot days to cool me off and cold days because it enhances the plumping sensation. My only gripe is that the color is too sheer but terrific as a layering gloss. This is a my lips but better gloss.
